How to deal with someone who always "picks" at your every word?

I have a friend (she's a mom too) who often will try to contradict or correct what I say. For example, she'll tell me that her toddler fell hard on the ground and to make her feel better, I'll say "Yes, kids that age often are falling down and hurting themselves". Then she'll say "I'm not saying my daughter is a klutz because she rarely falls". Or something like "It's so nice out today". if you can use a simple voltmeter you can troubleshoot that one. remove the back. there is a heating element. test it...it should show continuity. if not, that's the problem. there are at least 3 therm-switches back there, maybe 4. unplug them and test...they also should show continuity when the dryer is off. you can get your parts at any appliance supply store. it's actually a Whirlpool. Sears is the last place to buy the part...stupidly expensive.

My four year old male Pit Bull killed my male Pit Bull puppy I brought into the family. What should I do?

I adopted an adorable Pit Bull puppy when he was seven weeks old. He was soon approaching his fourteenth week of life this week, until my three year old Pit Bull decided to kill him today while I was gone. He is very territorial, but has never shown any signs of being a killer or even behaving aggressively. I arrived home today to find a note on my front door from Animal Welfare saying that my older Pit had killed my Puppy. My neighbors saw everything and called Animal Welfare terrified. My three year old Pit had blood from head to toe and my poor baby was lying there already gone. I really do not feel it was an accident. I really loved the puppy very much and never would have expected such a horrible devastation to occur. I wish I could have had some kind of a sign to protect him ahead of time. I feel responsible for being gone and not being able to save him. I just don't know what to do at this point? I am not sure what my dog is capable of now that I have witnessed him take an innocent life. I have cried all day questioning whether I should keep him, give him away, or put him to sleep. All of these are horrible options, because I want to keep him. I love him so much, but I do not feel that I can get past this. If I ever do get past this, I don't see it being anytime soon. What should I do? Will he attack again or was he jealous of my puppy? Please help me this is a very tough decision for me to make, but I am willing to sacrifice for others safety. Good color to paint a hallway?

I have been debating this for quite some time, now. What color to paint my hallway. Right now, it's a dark blue color and it's pretty dark, I feel. We only have one hanging chandelier to light it and it's an L shape hallway. Our bathroom is a lighter shade of blue and we are planning on painting our bedroom red. we have 2 other bedrooms that are a blue color and a greenish blue. We are wanting to re-do some stuff in our house. This is a hallway that goes up stairs and going up the stairs at night seems quite dark. What is a good, light color to paint a hallway? I don't have a clue how to work FROG decks, but to me it looks like you might need more support cards to get what you need out on the field . For example, if you need ways of summoning monsters quickly, use Ultimate Offering or Double Summon. Take out Jar of Greed, it's banned (if you care about that sort of thing). Plus, take out mind control, it's effect is only useful for tributing and you need to play life points, there are cards that can do that kind of thing a lot better, like Mausoleum of the Emperor (if you are using it just for the control then still get rid of it, its pointless for one turn and you can replace it with something more useful) . Can't rate it because i don't know how this deck works. Hope this helps !

My boyfriend had his medial meniscus repair on December 30. He has been out of his brace and cleared to do things again as long as he is smart about them. His last doctors appointment was supposed to be on March 30 but the doctor ended up having to drain his knee again (this was the second time) of all the fluid so they made another appointment for April 30. After they drained his knee, the swelling was down for a few days and then he decided to run a good four miles (the first time he had since before his surgery). His knee didn't hurt and he has had very little to no pain at all. After his run, his knee swelled up again so he went to see his school trainer who said that he might need surgery again if the swelling doesn't go down. He's been taking ibruprophen twice a day and the swelling is almost compleatly gone and he has no pain and was even able to run yesterday without pain. Do you think his meniscus in not healed and will he need another surgery? He isn't in pain though so would pain be a symptom that it isn't healed?

What snacks and dinners do you feed your baby? My little girl is 10 months old. For breakfast she has baby cereals, for snacks she loves yoghurt, rusks, mashed banana with rusk and tubs of fruit. I went to pick my nephew up from hockey practice, and the parent's apparently threw together a hockey team to "give the kids something realistic to aspire to", well, after I failed to argue my way out of it, I'm now the team's "enforcer" and "Power Forward". I have no concerns about the running and shaking as i feel it is all very normal, What i do have a problem with is the lack of a voice, this could be he begging of an URI and should be checked out by an EXOTIC vet. just to make sure she is OK. Guinea pigs will hide the fact they are ill until it has reached the acute stages and it is almost to late to treat. Why Would Anyone Feign Handedness?

This may sound strange but here goes: I'm right-handed and everyone in my family is completely left-handed. However, due to a right-handed injury which I sustained years ago, it's more comfortable to eat with my left hand. In fact, it's difficult to eat with my right. Anyway, about a year ago I reunited with a former girlfriend who is totally right-handed, always was. I've noticed she's recently chosen to eat with her left, which is quite visibly awkward for her. My partner has a low self-esteem and goes overboard to fit in with everyone she comes in contact with. I'm wondering if she deliberately uses her left hand to eat just to "fit in" with myself and the rest of my family. At pick 42, you could've easily gotten Verlander or Oswalt; both guys will get 12 more wins than Saito and twice as many Ks. Personally, I don't draft closers at all in H2H leagues and will draft 1 or 2 closers in roto leagues near middle-end of the draft. I'd trade Saito as soon as possible; lots of saves are available at a MUCH cheaper price.

Would it be unwise to drive a honda crx in winter?

I have a 1990 honda civic hatchback with abit of rust, its not so nice looking, but its also not horrible to look at also, one of the bad reasons about the car is that it goes up to 350kms per tank, 35dollars to fill, thats costing my money alot as my job requires me to travel 1000 kms per week. I have a 1990 crx which is nice, i bought it for 1500 and i got a really good deal. The problems is that it prob needs a new starter and a few minor others (like any old car), it has a b18 (acura engine) and the cars so light i'm sure it'll be abit better then my civic. My job requires me to drive kids around (to therapists, family visits) and i was thinking that a honda crx would be to light in winter ( i'm paying 600 dollars to get a 3rd seat proffesionally put in the back ). I always wondered why i don't see any honda crx's driving in winter also, is it because of the wear and tear? The honda crx is one of those cars that if you had to pay 600 for a new axle you would cause its worth it.

Foot injury---please help! (it is possible people who do ballet might now)?

I have hurt the ball of my foot very badly to the point where it is excruciating to walk on it. I have recently began a harder ballet cl where everyone in my cl is on pointe except me, so i have to go on the ball of my foot a lot! I went to the doctor and got an x-ray yesterday, and they said it wasn't broken but i had done something to the ligaments in it. It looks like: ball point of my foot totally swollen, and some points black and blue hurts to the touch, also side of big toe red, (possibly blisters), pinky toe swollen hurts to push lightly on the side. Is this normal for dancing for something like this to happen. I have been wearing spacers lately to prevent bunions. what have i done to the ball of my foot? what should i do now?

i am 17 years of age,male, and am about 6 foot 2 and 180 pounds. The past couple of days my back has been killing me, i have never had any problems with my back whatsoever. this was just so random. It is all the way from the middle of my back to my shoulders. But the pain is more severe in the upper middle. I was just wondering if this could be the triggering of a growth spurt considering I have never had one. Ive always been a consistant grower. But Ive only grown an inch over the past 2 years. Do LCD tvs burn in images or burn out pixels?

So I just bought a Panosonic Viera 42" LCD TV and was wondering if this tv or lcd tvs in general burn in images or have burn out of pixels. I didn't know if this happens for lcd tvs or if that is plasmas or if that was an older problem once lcdscame out and it is resolved now. I have the picture mode on "Vivid" which looks really nice, but it does seem to be the brightest mode of them all. Should I just keep it on standard and only put it on "vivid" for certain occasions or does it not matter at all. The specs are 1080p, 60Hz, and 15,000:1 contrast ratio if that matters

Sometimes I wish we were back together or that I did things differently. The relationship was not a very healthy one on both of our parts and I ended for what I know are the right reasons, but I feel like I didn't give it a real opportunity to change or get better. I know my mistakes of not being trusting and his carelessness turned into a lot of anger, resentment, and finger pointing. It hurts alot to see him with someone else and wonder if they are happy. I have tried to keep myself busy through work and family but I don;t have alot of friends, I don't like to go out or be in crowded situations, so I usually spend my nights home alone or with a few select people. I tried dating but that didn't work out and still can't keep my mind off my ex. Also, some of these feelings are brought on because I am ready to settle down, have kids, etc. Any advice is appreciated. thanks.

Why am i losing more weight now that i have gone off my diet?

for the previous 2 weeks i was eating mostly fruit, vegetables and protein bars. i was loosing some weight but not that much body fat(i have an electronic body composition scale). latly i have began eating a modified normal diet and i am loosing a lot more body fat and gaining muscle, while maintaining the same weight. i still don't overeat or eat completely unhealthy, but i do eat junkfood- junkfood containing all natural ingredients(imported nestle from europe). why am i loosing so much body fat? i do run at least 3 miles a day and do as much pull ups and chinups as i can.

Im senior and I just feel like I can't take all the bs life has to offer. Im tired of all of life’s problems the majority of people in this world are snobby, selfish, and complete a$$holes to people. The times when life’s seems good is rare and then 90% of it is constant depression and hopelessness. Im addicted to and I try to stop so hard but I can't break it... The only thing that has keep me going on is God (Christian) but I just feel like well he probably doesn't exist he never helps me when I ask him to. I do bad in school, and some people in school just don't get me and are cruel even though I have done nothing to them. Climbing advice, in general...?

I'm a pleasure climber, I climb because I enjoy it. The more often I climb the better at it I am. Keeping yourself in shape, having a good diet and exercise plan always work well no matter what activity you should choose. The key basically is (that I have found) the more you climb the more skilled you get. eventually your muscles will be ingrained in the typical skill and technique that you are involved with and it will become second nature for you muscles to do what your mind wants them to do. Practice, practice practice, it applies to everything you want to do in life well.
