What's an "Enforcer/Power Forward" and will it hurt, or require any amount of skill?
I went to pick my nephew up from hockey practice, and the parent's apparently threw together a hockey team to "give the kids something realistic to aspire to", well, after I failed to argue my way out of it, I'm now the team's "enforcer" and "Power Forward". I don't know what either of these mean, I know the basic rules of hockey, but I never actually played before. They said that because of my build (I'm around 350lbs at 6'4" 80% LBM) that I'd make a good enforcer, I really don't know what it means, I wonder if anyone has any tips. We're having a game in about... 4 months time. Meaning I have to learn my role fast, but does it require any real training, or skill? I can't really skate all that fast without falling down, I've never used a hockey stick in any way in my life (yes I am Canadian, yes, a really bad Canadian). However, we're told the games are just against the parents of the other minor's team. So I ume the skill level is rather low anyway...
