Best Car For Snowboarder/Surfer?

Ive been looking at Audi Wagons from 2000-2001. i can spend 5000$. The subaru legacys are nice, but the older models look like junk. any other cars that are 4wd and are roomy? can be a SUV, wagon, sedans are just to small.
