Mucus or something in My Throat, IMPAIRS SPEECH?

I too have a dog and am allergic to lots of stuff. She still sleeps with me, though. I live on antihistamines, decongestants, mucous thinners and painkillers. Getting rid of the dog wouldn't solve the other stuff in the air, so I may as well keep her -- she's my good buddy.
